FOOD & EVENTS WORKS is a newly established UK consultancy and creative services company, built around a simple idea: good support should feel like having someone in your corner.

Running a business often means balancing the day-to-day with everything you want to do next. A clearer direction. A stronger brand. A gathering that brings people together. We help turn those ambitions into practical, manageable work, with advice that connects to action.

Hospitality is at the heart of our approach. We specialise in supporting restaurants, cafés, catering businesses and venues, where the customer experience depends on countless small details working well together. That same thoughtful, people-focused approach is available to businesses in every sector.

As a small boutique company, we keep our way of working flexible and personal. You can come to us for a focused piece of support or a project that brings several services together. Wherever you are in the UK, we’ll take time to understand your priorities, agree a sensible scope and work alongside you from the first conversation to delivery.

02 / WHAT WE DO

Three ways to
move things forward.

Strategy, storytelling and shared experiences. Choose the support you need, or bring it all together with one thoughtful partner.

01 THE BUSINESS SIDE

Management
Consultancy

Practical perspective for the decisions that shape your business.

When you’re close to the day-to-day, it can be difficult to see what needs to change first. We help owners and managers step back, understand the challenges in front of them and create a clear plan for moving forward. Our business advisory and management consultancy work focuses on how your business operates, serves its customers and organises its people.

For hospitality businesses, that might mean reviewing the customer journey, clarifying team responsibilities, improving everyday processes or preparing for a new opening or a change in direction. For businesses in other sectors, the starting point is the same: your goals, your current ways of working and what would make the most useful difference.

Support can include a review of your operations, practical recommendations, management planning and help putting agreed changes into practice. We’ll work with you to prioritise actions your team can realistically deliver, with a scope that suits the stage your business has reached.

  • Business direction & action planning
  • Operations & customer experience
  • Team organisation & implementation support

Our management consultancy excludes financial management.

02 THE CREATIVE SIDE

Digital Marketing
& Advertising

Help the right people discover what makes your business worth choosing.

A strong brand is more than a good-looking post. It’s the way your business introduces itself, the messages it repeats and the experience people come to expect. We help small and medium businesses bring those elements together through considered branding, digital marketing and advertising agency services.

Perhaps you’re launching a café, refreshing an established business or finding it hard to keep your social media consistent. We can help define your audience, shape your messaging, plan content and develop promotional campaigns that support a clear purpose. The work starts with what you want to communicate and who you want to reach.

Depending on your brief, support may include brand positioning, campaign concepts, social media planning and content, advertising activity and a review of what’s working. We connect the planning with the practical delivery, so your marketing feels coherent and achievable for the people running your business.

  • Branding & messaging
  • Social media & content planning
  • Digital advertising & promotional campaigns

Deliverables, channels and any advertising spend are agreed as part of your proposal.

03 THE OCCASION SIDE

Event Organisation
& Catering

Small gatherings, thoughtfully planned. Food and details that belong together.

Some of the most memorable occasions are the ones that feel easy to be part of. We help organise and cater for intimate gatherings across the UK, including birthday parties, private celebrations, corporate dinners and team events. Our focus is on making the occasion feel personal, welcoming and well considered.

We start with the people and the purpose: what you’re celebrating, the atmosphere you have in mind and how you’d like your guests to feel. From there, we can help shape the event, plan the food and coordinate the details within an agreed brief. You might need support with one part of the occasion or help bringing the whole plan together.

Planning can cover the running order, catering arrangements, presentation and practical coordination. We discuss guest numbers, location, timings, budget and dietary requirements early, so that we can confirm what is feasible and build a proposal around the real needs of your event.

  • Birthdays & private celebrations
  • Corporate dinners & team gatherings
  • Event planning, catering & coordination

Small-scale events only. Availability and suitability are confirmed for each enquiry.

Your kind of business.
Your kind of support.

We’re especially at home in hospitality, but a good working relationship starts with shared ambition, whatever your industry.

Our typical clients include independent restaurant and café owners, catering businesses, venue teams and people building their first hospitality venture. We understand that in these businesses, operations, marketing and the guest experience are closely connected. We can help you look at the whole picture or focus on the part that needs attention now.

We also welcome small and medium businesses from other sectors, from independent retail and professional services to creative businesses and growing local brands. For events, we work with private hosts as well as businesses planning a celebration, a dinner or time together as a team. You don’t need a fully formed brief to get in touch — a challenge, an idea or a next step is enough to start.

04 / WHY CHOOSE US

Small team energy.
Whole-picture thinking.

We’re building our company around the kind of support we believe makes a difference: attentive, practical and easy to work with.

01 /

Personal attention

Your business is more than a brief. We take the time to understand how you work, what matters to you and where you need support, so the project stays connected to your priorities.

02 /

A hospitality perspective

Our specialism brings the customer and guest experience into focus. We look at how the practical details, the brand and the people come together — and apply that thinking across sectors.

03 /

From idea to delivery

Advice is most useful when it can be put into practice. We can support both the thinking and the doing, connecting your strategy with the work needed to bring it to life.

04 /

Room to be flexible

A focused task and a broader project need different approaches. We shape the scope around the support you need, with deliverables and priorities agreed before work begins.

05 /

Clear, open communication

We favour straightforward language and shared expectations. You’ll know what’s included, what happens next and where your input is needed, with changes discussed along the way.

06 /

A UK-wide outlook

We work with clients across the United Kingdom. Consultancy and marketing can be coordinated remotely, while the practical arrangements for events are considered for each location and brief.

05 / HOW WE WORK

A conversation first.
A clear plan next.

Every project is different. Our approach keeps the early decisions simple and the work that follows purposeful.

  1. 01

    Say hello

Email us with a little about your business, your event or the idea you’d like to explore. Share any timings or priorities you already have. It’s absolutely fine if you’re still working out what you need.

  2. 02

    Explore the brief

We’ll use the initial exchange to understand your goals, ask useful questions and explore where we can help. This is where we clarify the needs, constraints and practical details behind the project.

  3. 03

    Agree the plan

We’ll put together a proposal setting out the scope, deliverables, timing and fees. You can review it, ask questions and agree the way forward before making a commitment.

  4. 04

    Make it happen

Once agreed, we get to work. We keep you involved at the right points, discuss any changes and bring the project through to delivery, with a clear handover and next steps where appropriate.

06 / A FEW ANSWERS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Wondering whether we’re the right fit? Here are a few things it’s useful to know before we begin.

Ask us something else
What areas do you cover?

We serve clients across the United Kingdom only. Consultancy and digital marketing projects can be coordinated remotely, making it straightforward to work together wherever your business is based in the UK. For event organisation and catering, we review the location, timing and practical requirements before confirming availability.

Do you only work with hospitality businesses?

No. Hospitality is our particular specialism, including restaurants, cafés, caterers and venues, but our services are open to businesses in every industry. We welcome enquiries from small and medium businesses that want practical advice, creative support or help organising an intimate event.

How do I get a quote?

Email info@feworks.co.uk with a short outline of what you have in mind. Any information about your goals, timings and likely scope is helpful, but you don’t need a finished brief. We’ll clarify the details and prepare a proposal with the services, fees and timescales for you to review.

Can I book just one service?

Yes. You can work with us on a single consultancy task, a marketing project or an event. If your needs overlap, we can also bring services together in one agreed plan — for example, business planning alongside a promotional campaign. We’ll recommend a scope that reflects your priorities.

What size of events do you cater for?

Our focus is on small-scale, intimate gatherings such as birthdays, private celebrations, corporate dinners and team events. We don’t publish a fixed guest limit because suitability depends on the venue, menu, service arrangements and date. Email us your expected guest numbers and location, and we’ll confirm whether we can help.

Can you accommodate dietary requirements?

Please tell us about any dietary requirements and known allergies when you enquire. We’ll discuss what can be accommodated for the proposed menu and service arrangements, and confirm the details before the event is agreed. Specific allergen requirements need individual confirmation; please don’t assume an option is suitable without checking with us.

Does your consultancy include financial management?

No. Our management consultancy covers business advisory, management, operations, customer experience and practical implementation support. It does not include financial management, accounting, tax or investment advice. If your enquiry falls outside our scope, we’ll be clear about that from the outset.

How far in advance should I get in touch?

As soon as you have an idea of what you need, particularly if your project or event has a fixed date. The lead time depends on the scope and our availability. If your deadline is close, include it in your email and we’ll let you know what is realistic before you commit.

07 / LET’S MAKE A START

Something in mind?
Let’s put it to work.

Whether you’re finding a new direction, giving your brand a fresh voice or planning a gathering, we’d love to hear what you’re thinking. Tell us a little about your idea and we’ll explore how we can help.
